About Me

Hello! I'm Victoria Bacon, an experienced Instructional Designer with a strong foundation in both theory and practice. Since 2019, I've been designing impactful training solutions that help adults build real-world skills. Prior to that, I taught middle school science, where I developed a deep appreciation for how learners absorb and apply complex concepts.

Currently completing my PhD in Instructional Design for Online Learning, I blend academic research with hands-on experience to create engaging and effective learning experiences. My approach is rooted in Constructivism—I believe adults construct knowledge through active engagement, reflection, and real-world application. Every learning solution I design aims to provide authentic, task-based practice that mirrors what learners will do on the job.

I have experience developing training in Articulate 360, Lectora, and Adobe Captivate, and I’m always exploring new tools to enhance the learning experience.
